Ipce started as a forum for people who are engaged in scholarly discussion about the understanding and emancipation of mutual relationships between children or adolescents and adults.

In this context, these relationships are intended to be viewed from an unbiased, non-judgmental perspective and in relation to the human rights of both the young and adult partners.

In the course of time, the function 'forum for discussion' has gradually ended. The remaining result is Ipce as a large library:

  • Statements or short essays
    In this section you will find opinions in a few words.
    None of them is officially an "Ipce Opinion" because Ipce is a forum on which several opinions are present. About these statements however, most of the members will agree.
  • Ipce Newsletters
    from # 01, Autumn 1989, until # 30, September 2011.
  • Library
    The Ipce Library is historically somewhat intermingled, since not everything used to be on the same website. Articles from before 2010 may link back to libraries '1, 2, and 3' (of which library 2 and library 3 still have a separately-indexed page). The combination of these three 'libraries' is indexed manually, on:

    From 2010 onwards, there is a new indexing system - which for now is named 'Library 4'.
